For I have longed
Many times over
My hearts desire
Forgiveness asked
Again and again
Though pure in nature
Not lustful in want
And written it is
Don’t be ashamed
For the hope you have
Now I shall stand taller
In valid emotion
In valid desires
Even though this season
May be void of this longing
I shall not be ashamed
And I will praise God
For things hoped for
Greatly anticipating
His glorious response
God undeniably loves us and cares for us. Not only does he want His children with Him in heaven, he also wants us to be happy here on Earth. So often I feel weighed down by future wants and desires for whatever reason. As long as we are seeking God and delighting ourself in His ways over our own those are valid desires. It’s okay to hope for them. So my beloved sister or brother don’t feel bad for hoping for certain things. In fact my own timid self got a check from the spirit that sometimes we even need to be bold enough to chase them. It goes back to the concept of not wanting to do the work and just wanting God to….yes so dream and hope big through God my dear friend and be courageous through Him who gives us strength and don’t loose faith in whatever season this is your going though! Know that God loves you and we might as well hope now as in heaven we will have no reason to hope for anything again!
